Common Questions

My child has never played soccer — is that okay?
Absolutely. Soccajoeys is a non-competitive program and welcomes children of all abilities. Many of our most enthusiastic participants have never kicked a ball before. Our coaches start from the basics and build skills at each child's own pace.
What if my child misses a class?
No worries! Missed classes can be made up at another session (subject to availability). Just contact us ahead of time and we'll arrange a suitable make-up class.
Are the classes really indoors?
Yes — all Soccajoeys classes are held indoors. This means no cancelled sessions due to Ballarat's wet or cold weather, and a comfortable environment for both children and parents watching on.
Can siblings attend different age groups on the same day?
Yes! Sunday at Emmaus Catholic Primary School is designed with families in mind — running three age groups back-to-back from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. A family with a 4-year-old and an 8-year-old can attend consecutive classes at the same venue on Sunday morning.
